What the rules cover
Cookies are small files that a website stores on your device. UK law (the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations) covers cookies and any other technology that stores information on your device or reads information from it. Consent is needed unless the technology is strictly necessary for a service you have asked for, or falls within another exception in the law.
What this website uses
- No cookies of its own. The website itself sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser.
- Visit statistics. I see how many people visit, and which pages they read, from Cloudflare's server records of the pages it delivers. No analytics script runs in your browser, and nothing is placed on or read from your device for these statistics.
- Security. Cloudflare, which hosts the website, may set a cookie that helps it tell real visitors from automated attacks. This is strictly necessary to keep the website secure and available.
- Spam check on the booking pages. When you use the enquiry form, Cloudflare Turnstile reads technical information from your browser and device to check that a real person is sending it. This is strictly necessary to protect the form you are using. It is not used to track you across websites or for advertising.
Other websites
Links to hospital booking pages, maps and independent profiles take you to other websites, which have their own cookie and privacy policies. I am not responsible for the cookies those sites use.
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block Cloudflare's security cookie or switch off JavaScript, the spam check on the enquiry form may not work; you can still telephone or email my secretary, Helen.
For more about how your information is used, see the privacy notice.
